The main bedroom is located on the main/first floor. In addition, everyone especially loves the Knotty Pine log cabin-like upstairs bedroom! :) There is also a Bonus-area Room with a quality sleeper-sofa. Pack n Play available upon request! Both the upstairs and main level offer Air-Conditioning/heating via Mini-split systems! We hope that you will notice that we retained much of the original, Yester-Year charms of when our house was originally built, like the Knotty Pine room, original interior doors with glass door knobs, etc. However, offering all of the modern-day upgrades and conveniences....like Mini-Split Air-Conditioning/Heating, Stainless steel kitchen appliances, and new flooring, You are in the Heart of SE Portland! 7-blocks to Reed College! Just 9-minutes to Downtown Portland. 15-minutes to the PDX Airport. 8-minutes to the Moda Center Rose Garden Arena, 10-minutes to PGE Park, VooDoo Donuts. Parking is in front of the house/on-the-street only (parking is plentiful directly in front of home). Private front door entrance. Our perfectly central location is ideal for travelers wishing to "be right in the middle" of the Oregon Coast (75-minute drive), or Mt Hood (80 minute drive), or the Columbia Gorge (35 minutes drive)! We do not allow smoking inside of our place, but outside on the brand new front porch, is OK. Interaction with guests My wife and I, are occasionally living in the separate private/secure downstairs apartment/basement. You will never see us, unless we coincidentally run into each other while outside, going or coming from our cars. However, you can reach us anytime via live cell phone, or text.
